Adults | Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Neurodivergence, Custody and Divorce Stress
Understand what feels wrong and begin moving toward healing
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, misunderstood, or unsure how to explain what has been happening inside you. Maybe you have spent a long time trying to push through, manage everyone else’s needs, or make sense of patterns that keep repeating.
Right now, you might be:
Feeling anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted
Struggling with depression, burnout, or major life stress
Trying to understand neurodivergence, ADHD, autism, or feeling “different”
Navigating divorce, separation, custody conflict, or co-parenting stress
Looking for perspective, language, and practical next steps
If this sounds familiar, therapy with Allyn can help you slow things down enough to understand what is happening, name what feels wrong, and begin finding a way forward that feels more grounded and manageable.
Meet Allyn Latorre, LCSW
Allyn Latorre is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and complex life disruptions. His clinical work includes support for clients navigating divorce, custody conflict, high-conflict family systems, and situations that intersect with medical, legal, or school systems.
Allyn brings a steady, thoughtful presence to therapy. He begins by understanding your needs, your pace, and the story behind what you are carrying. His work is practical, reflective, and compassionate, with a focus on helping you gain clarity and move toward meaningful change.
He has experience working with adults navigating ADHD, autism spectrum presentations, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, custody conflict, co-parenting disruption, identity shifts, career disruption, and major loss.
Outside of the therapy room, Allyn is a father of two who enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hiking, technology, video games, and Magic: The Gathering.
What therapy with Allyn feels like
Therapy with Allyn is grounded, collaborative, and honest. He creates space for the parts of your story that may feel hard to explain, especially if you have felt misunderstood, mislabeled, or overwhelmed by systems that did not fully see you.
Clarity without judgment: Allyn helps you name what has felt confusing, painful, or difficult to put into words.
Practical support: Therapy includes reflection, but it also focuses on steps that help you function, cope, communicate, and make decisions.
Room for complexity: Allyn is comfortable with layered stories, diagnostic uncertainty, neurodivergence, trauma, and situations involving family, legal, or medical stress.
A steady pace: You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Allyn works with you to understand where you are and what kind of support would actually help.
Allyn’s goal is to help you feel less alone with what you are carrying and more able to respond to your life with clarity, self-understanding, and direction.
Allyn’s approach: practical, reflective, and trauma-informed
Allyn’s work is trauma-informed and feedback-oriented. He draws from approaches that fit the client, rather than forcing the client to fit one specific method. His style balances compassion with a clear focus on safety, treatment effectiveness, and meaningful change.
Cognitive behavioral therapy
CBT can help you notice the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping anxiety, depression, shame, or stress in place. Allyn uses CBT in a practical way, helping you understand what is happening and build more effective ways to respond.
Acceptance and commitment therapy
ACT can help you make space for difficult emotions while reconnecting with what matters to you. Instead of getting stuck fighting every thought or feeling, you can begin moving toward choices that reflect your values, needs, and goals.
Trauma-informed care
Trauma-informed therapy helps connect your present-day reactions to the experiences that shaped them without pushing you faster than you are ready to go. Allyn pays attention to safety, pacing, trust, and the nervous system’s response to stress.
Solution-focused therapy
Solution-focused work helps you identify what is already working, where change feels possible, and what next step may help you move forward. This can be especially helpful when life feels complicated and you need something concrete to hold onto.
Feedback-informed treatment
Allyn is trained in Feedback Informed Treatment and uses structured outcome monitoring to understand whether therapy is helping and when adjustments are needed.
