Ready to break old patterns and connect more deeply with yourself and your relationships? Discover a mindful, compassionate approach to healing and growth.

You’ve done the work before, but now it’s time to take a deeper look at yourself and your relationship. There’s more beneath the surface—more to uncover, more to understand about why these patterns keep showing up.

You might be experiencing:

  • Feeling scared to speak up.
  • Feeling like you’re just roommates with your partner.
  • Lingering arguments that never get resolved.
  • Feeling inadequate in your relationship.
  • Shutting down emotionally from your partner or others.

You know it’s time to stop seeking validation from others and finally address what’s been keeping you stuck. If you don’t, the loneliness and lack of fulfillment will only continue.

You don’t have to stay stuck in these patterns. Get started now with Katie’s support.

Meet Katie Baker, LCMHCA

Katie Baker, LCMHCA, brings a unique blend of creativity and holistic care to her therapy practice. With a background in theater and experience in the corporate world, she deeply understands life transitions and personal growth. Katie also engages in her own therapy and mindfulness practices—including cacao ceremonies, which she facilitates and uses to feel grounded and enhance meditation. These practices are important to her personally, but also professionally, so that she can show up as a connected and compassionate clinician for her clients.

As an LGBTQIA+ ally, Katie provides a welcoming and affirming space for all. She also welcomes non-traditional relationships. With her additional training as a massage therapist, she often integrates body awareness into sessions, embracing both the intellectual and physical aspects of healing to help clients connect more deeply with themselves.

What Therapy with Katie Baker Feels Like

Therapy with Katie is a calming, reflective experience. Sessions are intentionally paced, allowing space to pause, reflect, and go deeper without rushing the healing process.

Katie focuses on the body, guiding you to notice how emotions show up physically. She uses somatic inquiries like “What physical sensations do you feel?” to help you viscerally connect with your inner experience. If this is hard for you to identify, she doesn’t force it – rather she helps you get curious about how else your emotions show up and what they might be trying to tell you.

Heal Deep Wounds with Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

At the heart of Katie’s approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful method that helps you get to know the different “parts” of yourself. These parts (think of them like “sub-personalities”) have been working hard to help and protect you—though sometimes they unknowingly are counterproductive to your ultimate goals.

Katie will guide you to understand the role of these parts, how they’ve been trying to help, and gently direct them toward healthier ways of supporting you. Through this deeper work, you can move beyond surface-level therapy and begin transforming the patterns that have been holding you back.

Strengthen Your Relationship with the Gottman Method

For couples, Katie uses the Gottman Method, which acknowledges that disagreements are inevitable and that no relationship is going to be “perfect.” With the Gottman Method, you will learn how to argue in a way that strengthens your connection rather than breaks it down.

Together, you’ll build a foundation of friendship, fondness, and respect. Katie helps you effectively navigate conflict, understand where your partner is coming from, and communicate in a way that fosters validation, even when you don’t agree. You’ll work on addressing patterns, building emotional regulation, and rebuilding trust and connection in your relationship.
